Co-Founder and Instructor
Mark Sisson is a celebrated bestselling health and fitness author credited as the “godfather” of paleo/primal and a leading figure in the ancestral health community. He is a former world-class distance runner, triathlete and Ironman competitor, and coach to hundreds of professional athletes. An avid academic, Mark was a pre-med candidate and earned a biology degree from Williams College. He served for 15 years as chairman of the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Anti-Doping Commission and as the ITU’s liaison to the International Olympic Committee. He began sharing his vast nutrition science knowledge with the ancestral-health community by way of his award-winning blog Mark’s Daily Apple. Mark teamed up with other leading experts to create the Primal Health Coach Institute Certification Course, the world’s first coaching program based on the evolutionary health movement.

Coaching and Course Director
For 25 years, Erin Power balanced her full-time marketing and advertising career with a part-time career in the fitness industry as a trainer and fitness instructor. She made the leap to full-time health coaching in 2004, and in that time has helped over 500 individual clients find freedom from food fixation and achieve an effortless relationship with food. These days she's one of the leaders at the helm of developing curriculum for Primal Health Coach Institute® and supporting the business development efforts of our graduates. She's also the co-host of "Health Coach Radio"—the podcast by health coaches, for health coaches. Erin lives outside Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on a hobby farm in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Writer and Researcher
As a writer for Mark's Daily Apple and the leader of the thriving Keto Reset and Primal Endurance communities, Lindsay's primary job is educating people about the whats, whys, and hows of leading a health-focused life. Before coming to work for Primal Nutrition and Primal Health Coach Institute, Lindsay earned her Master's and Ph.D. in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. There she focused on self-concept, social interactions, and goal setting. In particular, she researched how self-evaluations are affected by stigma and how that impacts goal-directed behavior. After graduation, she worked at UC Berkeley as a researcher and instructor before shifting gears and pursuing a career in health. Her psychology background drives her approach to coaching, which emphasizes mindset as a key factor in overall health and wellness.

Cardiologist, bestselling author, and course instructor
Dr. William Davis is a cardiologist and author of 6 books, including the New York Times bestseller Wheat Belly. He has been featured in major media outlets, including The Dr. Oz Show, Fox TV, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Huffington Post.
After 25 years practicing cardiology, Dr. Davis became acutely aware that he was in the business of dispensing prescription drugs and procedures, not health. So he began to seek out ways to restore health naturally, logically, and inexpensively — and discovered that managing the human microbiome is key to better health, weight management, and longevity. This course is the culmination of those findings.

Board-certified physician, bestselling author, and health advocate
Dr. Ken Berry is a family physician who has been practicing medicine since 2003. He is the author of the bestselling book Lies My Doctor Told Me and a passionate advocate of health on his YouTube channel, where he has over 2 million subscribers. Along with his online presence, he is active in the keto community and is best known for his direct, no-nonsense approach to health and wellness. His mission is to bring an end to the obesity and type II diabetes epidemics, along with bringing awareness to such issues as thyroid health and hormone optimization.

Integrative Primary Care Physician and Certified Primal Health Coach
Dr. Judith Boyce recently retired from her medical practice to develop vibrant health and longevity coaching programs and retreats for women over 50. She brings a wealth of training in health promotion, integrative therapies, functional and anti-aging medicine, and the primal lifestyle to help women optimize their lifespan and healthspan. She provides her expert and insider knowledge from her 40+ years in healthcare to help you launch your career as a health coach in a medical practice.

Board Certified Health Coach & Internationally Recognized Business Mentor
Amber Shaw is a board-certified health coach, certified fitness professional, and internationally recognized business mentor. After leaving corporate life at 40, she built a six-figure coaching business in under a year—and later scaled a second six-figure business mentoring other coaches. She’s since launched a global brand, hosted a top-ranked podcast (The Divorce Revolution, formerly The Wellness Revolution), and helped thousands of people worldwide. Amber is known for her heart-led, real-world approach to building successful, freedom-based wellness businesses.

Health Coach and Author
One of the first 50 people to complete the original Primal Health Coach Certification Course, Ashleigh VanHouten also holds a number of other certifications in nutrition, applied women’s physiology, and strength training. In addition to this course, she has developed a range of coaching programs and seminars for women aimed at improving physical strength, overall wellness, and a deeper understanding of our bodies. Ashleigh has a background in swimming, powerlifting, and CrossFit and is a former nationally ranked natural figure competitor and is the host of the “Muscle Science for Women” podcast.
