After tearing my quad tendon in my knee playing collegiate volleyball, a sedentary lifestyle and bad eating habits made me balloon to a weight that absolutely depressed me. I was borderline diabetic, unhappy, and 70 pounds overweight.
I yo-yo'd up and down for years until a friend of mine introduced me to Mark's Daily Apple, and, using the tools and information provided, I reversed my hypoglycemia, lost 70 pounds, and regained control of my eating and my life. Lowering the inflammation allowed me to heal my knee without surgery by doing Yoga and starting small. I now do CrossFit at least three times a week and teach Yoga and Goat Yoga on the weekends!
