Driven by the discovery of her non-celiac gluten intolerance in 2013, Marisa entered the field of nutrition with a recipe blog called My Longevity Kitchen while she obtained a certificate in Culinary Arts from Kendall College of Culinary Arts in Chicago. The early blogging and culinary experiences provided Marisa with collaborative opportunities as a Paleo recipe developer and content creator. Soon she earned the title of nutrition researcher, and marketing education manager as she wore many hats over the next 5 years. Fast forward to today and Marisa has been named in the Top 25 Wellness Coaches in Chicago for 2021 and a Top Health Coach in the world by Coachfoundation.com. She is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, a Certified Primal MasterCoach, at MarisaMoon.com, and the #1 ranking Intermittent Fasting Coach on Google. Marisa’s engaging approach to wellness is relatable, unconventional, and wildly effective. As a self-proclaimed foodie, Marisa says she’s living proof that you can love food and intermittent fasting (IF) just the same. Her proven IF approach, known as The RESET Method, has helped thousands of people forget the rules and end dieting as they shape a fasting lifestyle to fit their ever-changing needs. She also created Intermittent Fasting Freedom, an online program that helps people free themselves from dieting that sucks and learn this flexible IF strategy with Marisa’s coaching every step of the way (a book is in the works!).
