Danielle Killen is a certified Primal Health Coach who runs her own wellness practice in California.
Using her skills as a Primal Health Coach and personal trainer, Danielle is in the business of changing lives.
These days, Danielle appears to have nailed the recipe for healthy living, but life hasn't always looked this healthy for Danielle.
Like many Primal Health Coach Institute (PHCI) students and graduates, Danielle Killen’s coaching story begins with her own personal health transformation.
In this post Danielle shares her journey from debilitating gut issues to running women's bootcamps and ancestral health coaching through her own thriving wellness practice.
Overcoming Her Own Health Battles Led Danielle to Health Coaching
For years chronic gut pain and inflammation were the norm for Danielle. But to her amazement, Danielle's debilitating gut pain vanished after switching to a 30-day Primal (Paleo) diet.
Inspired by her own recovery from chronic pain and digestive issues, Danielle was motivated to help others lead healthier, happier lives.
And so began Danielle's new career path as a certified Primal Health Coach and a personal trainer.
Why Primal Health Coach Institute?
Danielle completed her Primal Health Coach certification in 2021. Studying at PHCI was a no-brainer for Danielle, as she reflects:
- “I chose PHCI because eating primal has changed my life… I wanted to teach other people about what a Primal lifestyle can do for them too.”
Danielle now uses her Primal coaching knowledge to change the lives of her clients, as she explains:
- “I have coached many clients through a primal program that includes diet, movement, and lifestyle. The hope is for lasting changes to be created and sustainable forever.”
Carving Her Niche as an Ancestral Health Coach and Personal Trainer
Danielle’s private home studio feels more like a sanctuary than a gym. Here, among the sound of waves and redwood-scented air, she helps clients transform—not just their bodies, but their entire way of living.
A certified personal trainer and Primal Health Coach, Danielle has created a practice that blends physical fitness with deep, lasting wellness.
- "I’m incredibly grateful for this space,” she shares. “I can host weekend boot camps for women, walk barefoot with my family to ground and recharge, and run, climb stairs, and take in the breathtaking views. This place is pure magic.”

Danielle KIllen's private home studio is nestled along the coastline near Seacliff Beach, California.
