How to Create Stunning Social Media Graphics for Your Health Coaching Business

Building your social media presence is essential for any health coach looking to start their own business.

With over 2 billion monthly active Facebook users, and 700 million monthly active Instagram users, social media platforms are an ideal way to connect your health coaching business brand with your ideal client.

Eye-catching graphics are key to successful brand marketing on social media.

Gone are the days when professional-looking graphics require expensive graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop (although these tools are very useful if you have access to them).

In this post we’re going to share nine super handy online tools that’ll have you producing professional-quality graphics for your social media posts in no time.

1. Canva

Canva is a freely available (with some premium options) online app that makes creating professional-quality graphics incredibly easy, even for a graphic design novice.

Simply upload your logo and create your own stunning branded graphics. Canva has loads of freely available stock images that you can use, or you can pay to select an image from their built-in library. You can even upload your own photos.

Canva not only provides graphics and images, but you can also make use of their superb text layouts that have been designed to instantly elevate your graphic into an eye-catching social media post.

Canva is particularly useful when creating graphics for highly visual social media platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest.

2. Phonto

Phonto is a freely available smartphone app that allows you to turn your own photos into professional graphics.

This user-friendly smartphone app enables you to add your own personalized touch to your graphics through the addition of text and other items such as your business logo.

Phonto also allows you to apply filters to your graphics, which helps to create a familiarity to each of your social media posts; a necessity when building your health coaching business brand over social media.

3. Pablo

Pablo is an extension of Buffer—the social media management tool—and is a handy tool for all health coaches.

Pablo is simple to use and super effective at sprucing up any short text you want to post on social media. Whether it be a quote or a health tip, you can give your text a polished feel by posting it onto a background photo; either your own photo or a stock image.

Pablo has some cool features to help your text stand out, including the ability to dim and mute your photo, make it blurry or turn it into a black and white image. You can also add your logo to help spread your brand on social media.

4. Boomerang from Instagram

Boomerang from Instagram can add a little fun to your social media posts. This freely available app creates little videos that loop back and forth.

Adding a Boomerang post to your Instagram or Facebook feed will help your post stand out amongst your standard photos and videos, and is likely to bring a smile to your followers’ faces!

5. PicPlayPost

If you’re looking to create photo and/or video collages using your smartphone, then look no further than PicPlayPost.

PicPlayPost is an extremely easy to use smartphone app that allows up to six videos or photos within a single collage. You can use it to edit and trim your videos so that your videos sync together. You can also add music to your collages.

Being able to edit your videos wherever, whenever on your smartphone is particularly handy.

6. QuotesCover

As health coaches, we’re always looking for inspirational words to share with our social media audience.

However, it’s not always easy to find the right words, or is it?

This is when QuotesCover works its magic. QuotesCover is an online quote maker that helps you find, select and post quotes onto social media.

Quotes can be selected from three searchable categories, including Famous Quotes, Ancient Proverbs and Inspirational Lines. You can even choose a quote from a specific person.

QuoteCovers also enables you to select the size of your social media post, depending on which social media platform you which to post to, including Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Google+.

QuotesCovers allows you to insert an image such as your logo, which is great way to share your health coaching brand.

7. PiktoChart

A picture says a thousand words, and this holds true with infographics. As a health coach, infographics come in handy when you want to turn a complex concept (such as the basic understanding of ancestral health) into an engaging experience on social media.

PiktoChart is an online app that simplifies the process of infographic development, by providing themed templates that you can modify with ease. The finished product is a professional graphic design quality infographic that you can share on social media.

8. BeFunky

BeFunky is a freely available online photo editing tool that enables you to perform photo editing tasks with ease. Whether you want to reduce blur or change the tint of a photo, BeFunky can do this for you.

You can also create image collages using preset layouts, as well as develop professional-looking graphics by adding text to your images.

It differs from Canva as it gives you more control over the editing process, but is nowhere near as complicated as Photoshop; it’s a happy medium.

9. ImgFlip

If you’re looking to create internet memes, than look no further than ImgFlip.

ImgFlip has a large collection of popular memes that you can add two lines of brief text too.

Or, if you have a funny photo that you want to turn into a meme, then you can overlay text using ImgFlip.

The great thing about memes is that you can use the same photos with different text. You never know, your meme may even go viral!
